From 16 to 22nd Nov-23 Samskrit Bharati Konkan Praant conducted its Prabodhan Vargah at Nilaje village near Dombivali in suburbs of Mumbai. Smt Shyamala Bhat and Shri Jagannath Arya were the Chairperson and Secretary respectively. Logistics including catering and accomodation was supported by a team led by Shri Kishor Udhoji. Praant Sanghatan Mantri Shri. Vittal Bhat guided the management by being at the venue full time. Shri. Vikrant Joshi took the responsibility of being Programme Training Lead. 68 participants representing 12 districts of Konkan region attended the course. Out of 68 38 were BEd students of Central Samskrit University at Vidyavihar Mumbai. Shri. Madhav Ghule Secretary Akhil Bharteeya Chittapawan Brahmin Maha Sangh was the chief guest from Dombivali at the inaugural session. The Society Chairman Shri Vasant Patil and Executive Director Shri Jitendra Patil operating Sarvodaya Vidyalaya expressed their thoughts while gracing the inaugural function. 15 Samskrita Bharati Teachers guided the students during the 7-day course. Through conversational Samskrit several sessions on grammar sports and story-building were conducted. Shri. Neeraj Dandekar Shri. Sandeep Joshi Shri. Kumar Bhatt Shri. Ashish Athavale and Shri. Sachin Kathale spoke on various topics like "Need of Samskrit" "Importance of Conversation" "Organization through Education" and "Activities to Do" which were introspective and vision-setting for the participants. Shri. Haresh Amdekar introduced new upgraded website of Konkan Region and the features associated with it. With regards to the inteoduction of courses Smt. Shyamala Bhat Smt. Snehal Padalkar Smt. Akshaya Bhagwat and Shri Narayan conducted sessions related to Balakendram Devavani and Shlok recitation courses. During informal sessions students presented short acts songs and conversations adding to the interest and entertainment. In order to propagate about the Samskrita Bharatis work all students and teachers together conducted a walk - Shobhayatra - in Nilaje village. At the valedictory session Dr Vivek Modak graced the function with inspiring address. Shri.
